What's included in every stream

  • A professional HD camera operated by an experienced funeral videographer (two cameras with live mixing on the two-camera package)
  • Up to 4 microphones, so the officiant, readers and music are clearly heard
  • Bonded internet from 6 × 4G modems, with Starlink satellite backup. This means we can stream from rural churches, woodland burial grounds and venues with no mobile signal
  • A private, secure viewing link, with an optional PIN or password
  • Full 1080p HD. Family watch in a web browser on any phone, tablet, laptop or smart TV, with no apps or downloads
  • The recording available on the same link for 2 months
  • A backup recording made on site, in case anything happens to the internet connection
  • Full UK coverage

Single camera or two cameras?

A single camera, from £595, works well for smaller churches, chapels and halls, and for woodland burials and cemetery gravesides, where everything happens in one place. Our operator shows the whole room and zooms in and out to follow whoever is speaking. Because there's only one view, people standing up or moving around can sometimes block the shot for a moment.

We recommend two cameras, from £650, for most church services. One camera shows the whole room while the other gets close-ups of the people speaking. We switch between them live, so if one view is blocked we simply cut to the other, and the stream feels like a proper film rather than a fixed CCTV view.

"The camera work was exceptional, the best I've ever seen for a funeral." A viewer's message to the family after a two-camera stream, shared in a Google review by Jonathan S.

What can change the price?

  • More cameras, for larger venues or services with music, choirs or several speakers
  • More locations, such as streaming the service and then the committal at the graveside
  • Add-ons: tribute slideshows, PA system hire, TV screens for overflow rooms, photography and videography

We cover the whole of the UK. Every funeral and memorial is different, so we give each family a personal, fixed quote before you book. There are no hidden extras and no charge per viewer.

Is the funeral at a crematorium?

Most crematoria have their own built-in webcast system, so we don't stream crematorium services. We specialise in everywhere else:

  • Churches of every denomination
  • Woodland and natural burials
  • Cemetery and graveside services
  • Halls, hotels, marquees, private homes and celebration of life venues
  • Remote and rural venues with poor or no mobile signal, where our bonded 4G and Starlink setup comes in

Why choose Funeral AV?

We aren't the cheapest funeral streaming service, and we don't try to be. We've streamed thousands of funerals over more than 10 years, often from venues that other companies turn down because the signal is too weak. Families get a calm, professional team on the day and a stream that works.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to live stream a funeral in the UK?

Funeral AV charges from £595 for a single-camera stream and from £650 for two cameras. Every funeral and memorial is different, so we give each family a personal quote. Extra cameras and extra locations are quoted separately.

Is there a charge for each person watching?

No. The price covers everyone you share the link with.

Do I get a recording of the funeral?

Yes. The recording stays available on the same private link for 2 months.
