Live Streaming - Terms & Conditions

Service Coverage:

Although rare, live streaming may experience interruptions or disruptions due to external factors inherent in the internet. UK Funeral Video Services cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery of audio/visual data over the internet. We are not liable for any streaming corruption or delays in receiving data over the internet. As a precaution, we digitally record ceremonies to ensure capture in case of disruptions. In such instances, a digital file will be provided within 24-48 hours after our return to the office.

Client Understanding:

Clients acknowledge that video coverage is at the discretion of the videographer, and no single clip is deemed more important than another. While special requests are considered, they are not binding instructions. The videographer retains artistic license, including regarding angles and locations. Weather conditions and subject cooperation may prevent the capture of all requested images.

Limitation of Liability:

In the unlikely event of equipment failure or contract cancellation, each party's liability is limited to the total contract value. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability is limited to refunding the sums paid, minus any reasonable out-of-pocket expenses.

Filming Permissions

Church & Venues: Clients are responsible for obtaining venue and participant consent to record events and paying any associated fees. Failure to do so may result in our inability to film the event, for which we are not liable.

Copyright and Consents:

Images or videos created under this contract are protected by copyright laws. Copying or distributing these materials without our written permission is prohibited. All digital files remain the property of Funeral AV

Extended Event Coverage:

Upon completion of contractual hours, we reserve the right to leave the event. Extended coverage can be arranged upon client request, subject to availability.

Expenses:

Clients are responsible for additional expenses not included in the contract price, such as venue access fees and postage for non-UK addresses. All additional goods must be fully paid for upon ordering.

Cancellation & Termination:

Either party can withdraw, cancel, or amend a proposal before acceptance or project commencement. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the live-stream will not be refunded. Cancellations before the 48-hour window incur an admin fee. In circumstances where events are affected by lockdown laws, a full refund will be issued.

FUNERAL FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

Please carefully review the following terms and conditions, as they pertain to all events documented through photography or videography services provided by Funeral AV

Special Requests and Coverage

The client acknowledges and agrees that the photographic/video coverage will be determined by the professional discretion of the photographer/videographer, with no single photograph or video clip being deemed more significant than another. While every effort will be made to accommodate special requests, they are not binding instructions.

The photographer/videographer retains complete artistic license, including decisions regarding poses, locations, and the number of images and clips captured. Final judgment on setup locations, poses, and content creation rests with the photographer/videographer. However, it's acknowledged that due to weather and subject cooperation, capturing all requested images may not always be feasible.

The Videographer or photographer

Substitution of Photographer/Videographer In rare instances and without prior notice, it may be necessary to substitute the originally designated photographer/videographer with another (e.g., due to illness). Every reasonable effort will be made to secure a replacement. However, if a replacement cannot be arranged, our liability is limited to a full refund of the booking fees.

Images and Films

Image and Film Quality While efforts will be made to provide pleasing color balance, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed due to varying lighting and environmental conditions. Clients understand that capturing exact colors as perceived by the human eye may be challenging.

Filming and Photography Permissions - Church & Venues

Permissions for Filming and Photography at Venues Clients are responsible for obtaining consent from venue owners and all involved parties, including ceremony conductors and performers, before the event. Failure to do so may result in the inability to photograph or film the event, for which we bear no liability.

Copyright and Consents

Copyright and Usage Rights All images/videos created as part of this contract are protected by copyright laws. Reproduction or distribution of these materials without written permission is prohibited. While clients receive a license to reprint high-resolution images or distribute them for personal use, the original files remain the property of UK Funeral Video Services.

Limitation of Liability

Limitation of Liability In the event of total photographic failure or contract cancellation, liability is limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss. Any refund is subject to deduction of reasonable expenses incurred.

Staying Longer at the Event

Extension of Event Coverage Upon completion of contracted hours, we reserve the right to leave the event. Extending coverage beyond agreed times may be arranged at additional hourly rates.

Reviewing your film or photos

Reviewing Final Products Clients have a specified period to review final films or photos and communicate any issues or changes. Failure to provide feedback within the designated timeframe implies acceptance of the finished product.

Expenses

Expenses and Additional Services Clients are responsible for additional expenses not covered in the contract, such as venue access fees and postage. Any additional services ordered after the event will incur separate charges.

Film & Photography Completion

Completion Time for Films and Photos Each film and photo undergoes meticulous editing and crafting, typically taking up to 6 weeks for completion, depending on workload and timing.

Music

Music Selection Films are produced using licensed music, with options for client input on music selection. Changes to music are accommodated once, if necessary.

Cancellation & Termination

Cancellation and Termination Either party can cancel or amend the proposal before acceptance. Amendments to the contract may result in increased costs, which will be transparently communicated. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event will not be refunded, while cancellations before this window incur an admin fee for services provided.

Force Majeure In circumstances where events cannot proceed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., lockdown laws), a full refund will be issued.
